Set in the historic Officers Mess at Fort Takapuna, white flowing draping, parquet flooring and high ceilings were the perfect sophisticated backdrop, and were subtly offset with contemporary elements such as Flock’s white Bentwoods, a hairpin leg table and a modern, refined tablescape with flowing linen.

Vinka’s stunning gowns of beaded lace, silk chiffon and feminine silhouettes were naturally complimented by Crane Brothers’ superbly smart light grey fresco suit, and hair and makeup was kept classic with a modern touch.

An all neutral colour palette of white and silver provided a simple, fresh elegance. Depth was incorporated with subtle metallics like vintage cutlery and silver chargers.

Romantic white roses and gypsophila featured in Wild Blooms beautiful floral installations, with unique accents like delicate dried branches, Queen Anne’s lace and white orchids.

We wanted to create an airy, elegant aesthetic that would be suitable all year round and feel timeless, yet still young and fresh. Simplicity for the romantic traditionalists.
